These days making your own personalised photo book is as simple as downloading one of the many free photo book software available online and dragging and dropping your favourite photos onto your customised pages. But that’s just for you to create an online digital album. What if you want your album printed? How do you know which size to choose? Which cover style would last long and be attractive at the same time?
Photo book sizes:
Basic shapes for photo books are square and rectangle. Most providers online provide multiple size options for you to choose from. Listed here are 5 highly preferred sizes:
1. Square- The square albums are best chosen for baby albums, pet albums, family holidays’ albums etc. where focus areas on the photos cover a smaller area.
- Medium- 10″ x 10″
- Large- 12″ x 12″
2. Rectangle- The rectangle albums are best chosen for graduation day albums, wedding albums etc. where photos capture a lot of people or include long explanatory text like in cook book albums.
- Small- 8.5″ x 11″
- Medium- 11″ x 15″
- Large- 11″ x 17″
Photo book styles:

4. Bonded leather- Bonded leather covers make for a matte finish in on the cover of the printed photo album. Leather is a durable and flexible material that offers a rich look.
5. Bonded leather with window- Bonded leather with window cover for photo albums is made of bonded leather and you can choose a photo to be printed on a window carved at the centre of the cover.

Andy Warhol: Red Books $54.45 The Polaroid camera combined two of Andy Warhol’s obsessions — the disposible nature of modern consumerism and the photograph as a ready-made. He was an inveterate and relentless user of Polaroid cameras and during the 1970s he made thousands of instant photographs. The near-instant nature of the Polaroid process meant that the photographs could be passed around, admired, sometimes written on moments after the event had been captured. It was a useful tool for a somewhat shy character, one that encouraged interaction and collaboration. In addition to his many portrait commissions, Warhol’s Polaroids were used for such Grammy-winning designs as the Rolling Stones’ “Sticky Fingers” album cover in 1971.Between 1970 and 1976 Warhol established a rigorous system of cataloguing. He would take home the Polaroids, edit and sequence them and then enter them in individual red Holson Polaroid albums. These albums, with Warhol’s original sequence and themes, have remained intact.Red Books is a cardboard box containing 11 of the Holson photo albums of Polaroids.
