Stampin’ Up Review – Is Stampin’ Up A Scam, Or is Stampin’ Up Legit?

Before I begin my Stampin’ Up review, I would first like to answer the obvious question.  No, Stampin’ Up is not a scam.  They are a business that has been tremendously successful for more than 20 years, and have grown into a multi-million dollar enterprise.  In this Stampin’ Up review, I intend to take a closer look at the business opportunity for which they are known for to determine if this is the best home based business for you.

With its roots going back to 1988, LaVonne Crosby and her sister Shelli Gardner established Stampin’ Up out of Shelli’s living room.  Before long, they outgrew several facilities, and eventually broke ground in Kanab, Utah.

Stampin’ Up offers a wide array of arts and crafts products such as their flagship product line of rubber stamps.  They also offer paper products for cards and envelopes, supplies for your scrapbooking projects, home decor solutions, storage products, and embellishments such as ribbon, buttons, brads, and many more.  If you have an arts and crafts project, Stampin’ Up has a product for you.

Stampin’ Up offers a network marketing business opportunity to become a Demonstrator for them.  A Demonstrator will receive commissions based upon their personal sales of their products.  Commissions and bonuses range from 20% to 40% depending upon your monthly sales volumes, and your ability to recruit new Demonstrators into your business.

What kind of training will Stampin’ Up provide you to build your business?

Stampin’ Up utilizes the same techniques and strategies that many other multi-level marketing (MLM) businesses practice.  You will be encouraged to make a list of friends and relatives, and will contact them to demonstrate products in their homes to achieve sales, and recruit new members into your business.  The training that you will receive from Stampin’ Up will be limited to these methods.

In my opinion, Stampin’ Up is a legitimate company with fabulous products for the ongoing arts and crafts project.  However, you will need to decide for yourself if you have a desire to build a business that is dependent upon your friends and family to achieve success.  If you decide that you have what it takes to build a business in this manner, then Stampin’ Up would be a great company to partner with.
